Thousands of runners in fancy dress took part in this year's London Marathon, including British astronaut Tim Peake, top inset, who ran the 26.2 mile course on the International Space Station in just over three hours.
Scores of entrants have been attempting to break 60 Guinness World Records this year, including the fastest marathon by two runners handcuffed together, and another for a man running in riot gear. Celebrities taking part include Top Gear host Chris Evans and Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, right.
