An hour-long operation to banish 'orange peel' skin...and gruesome though it sounds, surgeons insist it's virtually pain-free

There may now be hope for the eight in ten women afflicted by 'orange peel skin' on their buttocks and thighs - many of whom long for a Jennifer Lopez or Kim Kardashian (pictured) figure.

A new one-hour treatment has been shown to be successful in offering a long-term solution. 

The Cellfina procedure involves using an instrument with a vacuum that sucks up the fleshy area to be treated. 

The device then inserts a fine motorised blade horizontally under the skin to slice the sucked-up flesh away from the connective tissues that support it.
