Hilda Jamieson (pictured) first learnt to ski on homemade wooden skis in the 1930s.
The Scottish great-grandmother has been forced to quit skiing due to a degenerative eye condition.
She and her husband were pioneers of the sport in Scotland and Mr Jamieson founded the Glenshee Ski Centre, Aberdeenshire.
Her three daughters (inset) went on to achieve skiing success and one competed in the 1968 Winter Olympics in Grenoble.
