A woman in a wedding dress and another woman in a pink body suit were spotted on the rooftop of Cooper Union Thursday afternoon.
The women could be seen climbing up and down ladders on the roof of the Cooper Union Foundation Building, the bride struggling to reel in the train of her white dress.
The other woman's pink ninja suit obviously afforded her more freedom of movement - though her outfit had corset-like lacing in the back, perhaps to match the bridal look.
Waiting on a higher platform were a half-dozen onlookers, one of whom watched in a green jacket as he vaped away on an e-cigarette, sending puffs of vapor toward the overcast Manhattan sky.
A spokesperson for Cooper Union had no immediate explanation for the peculiar scene.
