'Fat people can run too': Size 22 gran's brilliant response to couple who abused her in a shop after she finished 10km race goes viral

Amanda Townsend, 45, was treating herself to a new pair of trousers after completing the Blackpool 10k when she overheard another shopper say: 'Look at this fat girl in the bright pink pants'. 



The grandmother from Clitheroe, Lancashire, hit back with a Facebook status explaining she's lost six stone, dropping from 25st 12lbs to 20st 2lbs. The post has been shared more than 2,000 times.
