They became parents for the first time last month. And Nick Carter and his wife Lauren found the most touching way to celebrate their happy news as the new mum posed for a stunning keepsake album with baby son Odin Reign Carter.
The 36-year-old Backstreet Boys star has been discussing his joy over the newborn, while his fitness trainer spouse wowed in the stunning shoot which saw her breastfeed her tiny son.
In the most striking image of the shoot, snapped by Lori Dorman, Lauren is seen gazing tenderly down at her precious baby, while breastfeeding him in a serene shot.
Cradling his head lovingly, the brunette beauty sported a frothy white dress with lace panels while swaddling Odin in a warm knitted baby blanket.
Her ombre tresses were worn in loose waves which tumbled over her slender shoulders as she wore just a dash of make-up to emphasise her new mummy glow.
Another shot from the same scene saw her lie on her side while looking into the camera, in a perfectly captured moment Odin too curiously gazed into the camera.
Lauren proved the preparation that went into their arrival as she stood proudly in Odin's nursery surrounded by exquisite furnishings and standing in front of his cot.
Her lace gown was exhibited in all its glory as she showed off the billowing bell sleeves and floor-sweeping hemline which made her ethereal and stunning.
One of the less dramatic and more simplistic look of the shoot saw Lauren sport a khaki coloured top with long sleeves while clutching Odin tight to her chest.
The one-month-old tot then took the camera all to himself as he was positioned on a small chair while snoozing and sporting a jaunty beanie hat atop his tiny head.
The photo-shoot comes after the couple discussed the 30-hour labour which came about when Odin arrived on April 19th.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Lauren revealed: 'We made the decision we wanted to do a home birth from researching and going and interviewing the hospital and watching a hospital-type birth verses a home birth.
'We went to tons of classes together for different techniques, from changing diapers to breathing through the birth itself, so the whole experience was a nine-month process. For me, it was enlightening and wonderful.'
His unique name has extremely strong roots, as she went on: 'Odin is the king of all the Vikings, and Reign would be like Odin's Reign - his Reign over his time on Earth.'
