Plus-size ballerina who quit dance as a teen because of the pressure to stay thin proudly flaunts her curves in form-fitting leotards as she shows off her ballet skills on Instagram

Iliana Vera, who is known as 'Frostine Shake' on social media, is a 30-year-old make-up artist and model from Austin, Texas, who is also a classically trained ballerina. 



Although she loves dance, Frostine started taking formal ballet classes as a child (inset), but she ultimately quit when she was about 17 because of constant stress put on her to be thin. When she turned 18 she turned to burlesque and started incorporating ballet into her routines. Frostine often fills her Instagram feed with photos of herself posed in her pointe shoes (left and right) and burlesque costumes as she flaunts her natural curves.
