So THAT'S why they're called Binky and Caggie: Tatler explains the meaning behind Sloanes' nicknames
Society bible Tatler has penned the ultimate guide to Sloane's nicknames - from 'Bunter' to 'Nick Nock' - explaining that the origins often lie in 'long nights in dormitories' at boarding school.
However, posh nicknames are also rife in aristocratic families as evidenced by Diana Mitford who was known as Dana, Dina, Bodley, Nardy and Honks by her mother, father and sisters respectively. Left to right: Made in Chelsea's Alexandra 'Binky' Felstead, Catherine 'Caggie' Dunlop, Gabriella 'Gabilicious' Tristao and Francesca 'Cheska' Hull.
