Furious dog owner says she was locked in KENNELS against her will after refusing to pay £86 council fee
A woman claims she was locked in kennels after she refused to pay wardens a fee for keeping her beloved pets overnight.
Stephanie Saleh (left), from South Shields, was handed a bill of £86 after a South Tyneside Council dog warden picked up her German shepherd and chihuahua just yards from her home. When the 41-year-old went to collect the animals from kennels (inset) the following morning, she says wardens shouted 'lock her in' and bolted a gate as she tried to leave (right) with her dogs.
