Glo Internet service in Arepo

SIR: Permit me an opportunity to air my view on the quality of Internet service being provided by the telecom service providers in Nigeria. In Arepo where I live, I was patronising a major internet service provider before now and it was an unpleasant experience as their signals were very weak and unstable.

It was indeed very frustrating in the last few years. The saving grace has been Globacom, which happens to have a very strong and stable 3G network in the area, and the speed has been highly commendable.

Small businesses in today’s world need reliable and cost-efficient broadband services. I hope the ISPs and the other operators can borrow a leaf from Globacom and improve their services in Arepo where many high-brow estates have sprung up.
