Picking a nutritious breakfast can be a bit of a minefield. Last week the London campaign group Action on Sugar revealed that almost half of 'healthy' breakfast bars contain the same - or even more - sugar than a bowl of Coco Pops.
We're meant to have no more than 90g of sugar per day, of which only 25g (six teaspoons) should be so-called 'free' sugar - that is, added in the form of sugar, syrups honey, or juiced fruits. Here we assess 29 popular breakfast choices and rate them out of ten.
