Former Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton (pictured with her two children and husband Hugh Hanley) has received a shockingly callous NHS letter (inset) saying she is no longer eligible for a cervical screening 'because you no longer have a cervix'.
Heaton, 36, who had a hysterectomy last year, shared a photo of the letter on Instagram today, with fans quickly branding the wording 'disgraceful' and 'heartless'. She wrote alongside the image on social media: 'A simple human emotion like "I'm sorry to hear that..." Would have made this so much better for me to read.'
