'There isn't a day that passes when I don't wish I could go back and put suncream on her': Mother's guilt as daughter, 18, dies of skin cancer caused by childhood holidays in the sun
Jennifer Nicholson, from Leeds, Yorkshire, said she was 'foolish' to underestimate British summers after her 18-year-old daughter Freja (right) died of skin cancer last November.
The 50-year-old (bottom left, pictured with Freja) has spoken about her heartbreak, admitting she did not protect the youngster from the sun in England. Now she is urging parents to safeguard their children in a bid to stop them experiencing the same devastation.
