World's First "Washable" Mobile Phone Developed By Scientists In Japan

Scientists in Japan have developed the world's first "washable" mobile phone after it was revealed that the mobile devices are the among the filthiest and most germ-covered items in daily use.

The new SnapDragon 410 android phone from Kyocera Telecom boasts a five-inch screen, is totally waterproof and soap-resistant and costs less than £300.
To ensure no moisture gets in, it does not have a conventional speaker but instead uses a smart sonic receiver and transmits sound throigh vibrations on the screen.
Measuring five inches in length, the phone runs Android 5.1 and has a 13MP camera - but sadly for UK phone fans there are no plans to launch it outside of Japan.
