'We were given two miracles as a wedding gift': Brides who asked guests to donate to their IVF fund reveal how their premature twins beat the odds to survive

Kirstie, 34, and Aimee Messenger, 31, (left) from Lowestoft, Suffolk, asked their 100 guests to donate to their IVF fund.

Following their big day, fertility treatment using sperm from an anonymous donor worked first time and Aimee got pregnant with twins. They were born at just 24 weeks and were given just a 25% chance of survival. But Cohen and Ethan (right) beat the odds and have just celebrated their first birthday (inset). Aimee said: 'There's not many brides who can say they got given two little miracles as a wedding present.'
