Pamplona's San Fermin Running of the Bulls festival heated up on Thursday night when animals were carried through the streets with fireworks on their backs. 


Revellers scattered as sparks were sprayed along the dark, windy streets by the 'flaming bull' - a man carrying a bull-shaped metal model. Earlier, in a hair-raising second running of the bulls, fighting bulls gored six people, the Spanish Red Cross said.
