It really does pay to be inclusive! Tommy Hilfiger's collection of 'adaptive clothing' designed for children with special needs becomes a top seller for the fashion brand

In February, the designer announced his first collection with nonprofit Runway of Dreams, which creates clothes for kids with disabilities.

The clothes in the collection are the same price and look similar to other children's clothing by the brand. However, buttons and zippers are replaced by magnets, and extra openings along necklines and leg openings make getting dressed easier. Runway of Dreams was started by Mindy Scheier, 44, a New Jersey mom and designer whose son Oliver has muscular dystrophy. Since the collaboration launched, it collection has accounted for 20 per cent of children's clothing sales for the brand.
