Now THAT'S a hair-raising trip! Meet the globe-trotting barber who visited 21 countries including Dubai and Iraq to perfect his craft

Liverpool-born hairdresser Miguel Gutierrez is known as the Nomad Barber as he travelled four continents of the world in one year. 


Along the way he learnt the history of his craft and new skills. With a single backpack and a cameraman in tow he started in Europe, roamed the Middle East, hopped over to Asia and then traversed North and South America.
Gutierrez decided to travel the world giving haircuts until his funds dried up so that he could see how his ancient 5,000-year-old trade varied from place to place.
