Quick - let me in! Squirrel knocks on a window for help as it is stalked by a fox
Mark Gardner, of North Kensington, West London, caught the unusual pose on camera in his garden and it went viral when he shared it online.
The 48-year-old captioned the image 'if you could let me in... that'd be great' and it was shared 21,000 times as well as receiving 3,000 likes. Mr Gardner said: 'I'm forever taking photos out of my window of the animals and the fox has been coming in the garden for years. The squirrel has been coming around a lot recently too and he knows he will get food that I leave out for them. I call him Corby.' Mr Gardner is often wheelchair-bound due to a disability called avascular necrosis that leads to the death of bone tissue, leaving him struggling to walk. But he has found that his garden has proved a haven for wildlife and three foxes including this one, which he calls Forest, have been returning there for a number of years.
