Single dad leaves Facebook in tears after praising police officers who bought his autistic daughter a Dory lunchbox after she had a meltdown over it in Argos

Robert Davies (left), 41, from Bridgend, South Wales, is a full-time carer for his daughter Cerys Lily (pictured), who is eight tomorrow, and paid tribute to PC Steven Bowen and PCW Leigh Francis on Facebook (inset) after he felt he hadn't thanked them enough in person. 


They visited the dad at home after he was spotted trying to get a visibly upset Cerys Lily in the car after their shopping trip. The PCs first entertained the little girl by flashing their car's lights and then returned the next day with the longed-for lunchbox. Robert admitted he was 'overwhelmed' by their kindness.
