Clips of 20-year-old McKayla were shown during the Women's Gymnastics Olympic Trials on Sunday night - prompting many to call out her new look (left).


After winning a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics, a photograph of McKayla pursing her lips to the side in disappointment went viral (right). McKayla announced her retirement from elite gymnastics in February, and she is now pursuing a music career.
