England fight back on day three of the third Test against Pakistan as Cook and Hales lead from the front at Edgbaston

It took the best part of three days but England and the Edgbaston crowd that usually supports them so passionately finally woke up just in time to make a contest of a third Test that was heading inexorably Pakistan's way.
