Olympic golden couple Laura Trott and Jason Kenny kissed and hugged (left) after he won his sixth gold medal, just moments after she clinched her fourth gold.
The 24-year-old descended into floods of tears as she watched Kenny triumph in the keirin (inset right), equalling Sir Chris Hoy's record-breaking medal haul. The most successful couple in Olympic proudly showed off their medals in the velodrome at Rio after the ceremony (right). Between them the couple are now thirteenth in the medal table and across three Olympics have 10 gold medals and one silver combined. Just minutes after Kenny won the race, Trott wrote on Twitter: 'Arghhhh!!!!!! I love him to bits @JasonKenny107 !! Our kids have to get some of these genes right?!' (inset left).
