Student, 21, who thought she had a HANGOVER dies of meningitis just 24 hours later

Jennifer Gray (pictured), 21, from Paisley, believed her nausea and headache were a result of alcohol from the night before with her friends.

But just 24 hours later, meningitis overcome her and took her life. And now her mother Edwina, 52, wants other people to know the symptoms of the deadly infection and make sure it 'doesn't happen to anyone else'. 'I just want people to know how fast the illness took her. She said: 'One minute she was fine. The next minute she was brain dead.' The family have managed to raise £10,000 for the Meningitis Research Fund since her death
