'When will some people realise I don't just slap my name on things': £50,000-a-month YouTube vlogger Zoella insists she works 'bloody hard' after critics claim her new lifestyle range is as authentic as her ghost-written novel

It must be difficult for Zoella (pictured) - real name Zoe Sugg - when people don't appreciate the effort involved in releasing a made-in-China hand sanitiser (as part of a new range pictured), a Christmas bauble filled with bubble bath - and a doormat.

Critics claimed there were similarities between the controversy over her first novel after it was discovered a ghost writer worked on the project. But she hit back on Twitter, and said she spent 'months, if not years carefully planning, testing and designing' the range. Zoella has made her name and money from her teen-friendly video posts including books and endorsements.
