All these men and women are 55. But, after taking a revolutionary new test, some are ageing faster than others. So would YOU dare find out your body's REAL AGE?
Tim Spector, a professor of genetic epidemiology at King's College London, is part of team behind the test.
He says:'Studies have found that our blood's glycan levels closely track our chronological age'. In other words, different patterns occur at different ages - so how much you vary from the norm for your age is a sign you're ageing at a slower - or faster - rate than most of your contemporaries. Glycan patterns also change with the menopause because of the drop in oestrogen, which protects against ageing.
