Can you find a new miracle? Only another Medinah can save Clarke and his men as Americans pass their test of nerve in the fourballs
Europe suffered a major setback in the afternoon fourballs as the USA won three of the four matches to head into the final day leading 9½-6½.
Lee Westwood and Danny Willett missed crucial putts on the 17th and 18th to level their match, allowing J.B. Holmes and Ryan Moore to take a 1Up win. It started well for the Europeans as a fired-up Rory McIlroy and partner Thomas Pieters handily beat Dustin Johnson and Brooks Koepka.
