From a public schoolboy and Cambridge graduate to a 'disturbed' high-roller who 'got kicks out of torturing prostitutes': The VERY privileged life of Briton accused of gruesome Hong Kong murders
Murder-accused Rurik Jutting (pictured left and inset left during his Winchester College days) grew up in Surrey before attending prestigious £34,000-a-year boarding school and winning a place at the University of Cambridge.
During his time at Cambridge joined the rowing club and was the secretary of Clio, the undergraduate history society. After graduating, he embarked on a high-flying career in banking, working first for Barclays and then Merrill Lynch in London before moving to Hong Kong where his is said to have 'developed an obsession with group sex'. The 31-year-old, who is pictured (centre) smoking a hookah pipe while flanked by scantily clad women, is currently on trial accused of murdering two sex workers (pictured right and inset right) but denies the charges.
