She's not averse to recycling her favourite clothes and the Duchess of Cambridge stayed true to her thrifty form for a dazzling Buckingham Palace reception on Thursday night.
The mother-of-two dazzled in a bespoke red Jenny Packham gown alongside the royal family for the annual Diplomatic Reception at Buckingham Palace - and it's not the first time she's plumped for the gown.
Indeed, Kate wore the floor-sweeping dress for her first state banquet at Buckingham Palace in October 2015.
The gown was made in a stunning red in honour of the Queen's guests Chinese president Xi Jinping and his glamorous wife Peng Liyuan.
The gown combines a fitted round bodice with a round neck and cap sleeves with a long romantic skirt.
Jenny Packham confirmed to FEMAIL at the time that they designed the bespoke dress for the occasion. Similar looks retail on their website for £2,600.
The dress features many of the details Kate likes, including a slim-fitting waist with a belt and tailored top.
For Thursday night's event, Kate offset the look with the diamond and pearl Cambridge Lover’s Knot tiara also worn by Diana, Princess of Wales, with a favourite pair of chandelier diamond earrings.
