Kendall Jenner struggles under the weight of a giant beanie at the retro hip hop inspired Marc Jacobs NYFW show

LL Cool J can start wearing his oversize furry Kangol bucket hats again because this designer is bringing them back.

Kendall Jenner may have been an infant for most of the Nineties but the model got a taste of what hip hop culture was like courtesy of Marc Jacobs.

The 21-year-old helped the designer show off his new collection alfresco in New York on Thursday.

Celebrity guests including Katy Perry, Amanda Peet, Sara Sampaio and someone who knows a lot about hip hop and the time period, Lil Kim, initially sat inside expecting a traditional show.

But then the models walked the runway and headed outside where the strutted down the street before posing in what was almost an art instillation.
