Microsoft, Gr8jobsng to Boost Youth Employment Via “Recruitment Day”

Following the success of the 2016 “Recruitment Day” which held on the 3rd and 4th of November 2016, Microsoft and Gr8jobsng partner once again and for the second edition of the “Recruitment Day” for 2017.

As companies that are passionate about reducing the un-employability of youth and unemployment rate in the country, Microsoft and Gr8jobsng initiated the Recruitment Day job fair to address employment issues and give the youth much needed access to jobs and employment opportunities.

“Because of my passion for improving the Nigerian economy and my understanding of the effect the current recession is having on both jobseekers and organisations, I know how important it is for individuals and companies to get the right fit. The aim of the Recruitment Day is to help bridge this gap and to give jobseekers the opportunity to get the placements that they need to reach their full potentials”, said Mrs. Omomene Odike, CEO Gr8jobsng powered by U-Connect Human Resources Ltd.

This second edition which is slated to hold on the 30th of March 2017 is set on a much larger scale from its predecessor to give up to 400 youth the opportunity to find and secure gainful employment.

Notable industry giants and personalities will be in attendance as speakers to give insight to attendees on what employers look out for in employees and how to build a successful career.
