Chelsea 0-2 Manchester United
Manchester United revive their hopes of qualifying for Champions League next season following their 2-0 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Monday night. Anthony Martial opened scoring for the Red Devils through a flipping header in the 45th after connecting with a cross from Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the right flank.
The English international dribbled his countryman Reece James twice before finally putting the cross into the Blues danger zone, and the Frenchman was in the right position to head it home.
Few minutes later Willian also tried his chance but his effort was stopped by David De Gea to ensure the game remains goalless in the first ten minutes. Not too long after that, French midfielder N'golo Kante was taken off the pitch owing to an injury that is yet to be known and Mason Mount took his place for the remainder of the game. Summer signing Harry Maguire made it two for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men in the 66th minute after heading home a superb cross from Bruno Fernandes.
Meanwhile, Nigerian star Odion Ighalo made his dream debut for his new side after coming on for Martial in the 90th minute and also became the 200th player to achieve that feat in United's colours.
