Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu has assured Abia natives of the creation of 3,000 jobs for unemployed youths in the state, in line with his campaign promise to develop agriculture.
This will be done through the Ministry of Agriculture, Abia State, in partnership with Youth for Agriculture Nigeria, which will train and empower Abia Youths in different agricultural value chains of the Federal Government.
Meanwhile, the first deputy Chairman of Ndi Eze in Abia, Eze G.C.Chionye, had on August 22, 2015, donated over 10,000 hectares of land for the youths of Umuahia/Ikwuano Federal Constituency to be trained and empowered in different agricultural value chains of the Federal Government in line with Governor Ikpeazu’s vision for the state.
