OLX, Nigeria’s foremost online classifieds platform has announced a partnership with Mandilas, a leading player in the auto industry. As a result of the strategic partnership, OLX users will be offered free vehicle valuation and diagnostic services, and Mandilas’ vehicles will be listed on the OLX platform in an effort to attract buyers from across the country. Eligible OLX users who post their cars for sale on the OLX platform will have their cars screened and evaluated for free, with an evaluation certificate from Mandilas issued which will state the current market value of the car as well as the condition of each part of the car. This will be of great benefit to buyers who are worried about the worth and condition of a car and to the sellers who are uncertain of the monetary value of their car. An obviously elated Stephen Gladwin, the General Manager, Mandilas stated that “the partnership with OLX will help build trust amongst Nigerians who are in the market to buy or sell their used cars because of the certificate they get at the end of the screening process”. OLX, which prides itself as the “Numero Uno” in the classifieds business in Nigeria, connects local people to buy, sell or exchange used goods and services by making it fast and easy for anyone to post an ad through their mobile or web app.
