Aiming to better traditional courier services in documents pickup and delivery, Picup, a simple and hassle free delivery startup, has launched a 90 minutes pickup and delivery of documents and parcels service for businesses in Cape Town, South Africa. Picup, which is backed by WeChat Africa, stressed that if it failed to deliver on its promises of delivery within 90 minutes, clients would be refunded 100%. Speaking about the new service, Head of WeChat for Africa, Brett Loubser, said: “We’re so pleased to be associated with a start up like Picup, which is disrupting the logistics market in Cape Town and will soon take on other cities in South Africa.” Picup, whose services can alternatively be used by following Picup’s official account on WeChat, uses bicycles, motorbikes and cars for customers’ delivery.
