Chris Brown, 26, has officially won joint custody of his daughter Royalty, 1. The singer had a very intense custody battle with Nia Guzman, 32, but came out on top on Sept. 11.
It wasn’t pretty. A new report claims Nia put up a nasty fight. She tried to deny Chris any custodial rights and she also only wanted to give him supervised visitation, according to TMZ. The judge reportedly disagreed with her reasoning and awarded Chris 50/50 custody! Amazing.
The two will share joint physical custody, and Royalty will go back and fourth every 4 days. Wow, that’s a whole lot of travel for this one-year-old. Now that Nia lives in Cali., it’s more feasible for them both to co-parent properly.
As for the money being handed over to Nia in child support, she will only receive $2,500 a month instead of the $15k she REALLY wanted. An insider confirmed EXCLUSIVELY to HollywoodLife.com that “Paternity has been adjudicated. Chris is Royalty’s father”. There you have it folks — incase you were second guessing.
The insider also revealed that Breezy “is required to pay all medical bills or medical insurance for Royalty too.” No word yet on what will happen to Royalty when Chris has tour dates.
