Kim Kardashian launches a brand new website and app, KimKardashianWest.com.

On Monday morning, Kim Kardashian sprung forth unto the world a brand new website and app, KimKardashianWest.com.
According to the App Store’s official description, the Kim Kardashian West Official App offers “unprecedented and exclusive personal access to her life.” I’ve had the app for about 15 minutes and here some initial thoughts.
The app offers beauty tutorials, behind the scenes photos, Q&As and live streams with Kim herself, and opportunities to mimic both Kim’s and North West’s style. While most of the content is free, some is located behind a paywall which costs $2.99 a month.
It’s is designed by Whalerock Digital Media, which also released apps for Khloé, Kendall, and Kylie today.
Kim’s is divided into Beauty, Style, Obsessed, Behind the Scenes, and Q&A sections. In Beauty, there is currently a tutorial for strobing with Kim herself, and in Style, there are guides to duplicating both Kim’s and North’s Fashion Week looks… but at prices you might actually be able to afford. Obsessed will show you which products Kim is currently using. In Behind the Scenes, there are photos from Kim and Kanye’s Balmain campaign shoot, as well as Polaroids from her fitting for her Met Gala gown, and a pregnancy diary.
Kendall’s app is split into sections for Model, Style, Travel, and Life.Kylie’s app has its own radio station, as well as Looks and Lyfe. Khloé’s has Fit (of course), Khloé XO, and Glam. Kourtney also has an app coming though, for whatever reason, it’s not launched yet.
All of the apps are headed up by Jen Garcia, who serves as the Kardashian-Jenners’s editorial director. “This is the first time they can showcase what’s important to their fans,” Garcia told Women’s Wear Daily in an interview about the apps. “It’s one family but they are all really distinct personalities. From the get-go they made that clear. They wanted each of these apps to be reflective of their different personalities. You’re going to see overlap but also really personal themes.”
While the apps do have some overlap, a subscription to one will not give you access to another’s premium content. I, obviously, chose Kim.
