A new contender has emerged for the post of president in Spain. And she is a Nigerian. Helen Mukoro a lawyer migrated to the country in 1992 and is setting a new record as the first woman and immigrant to contest for the post.
She will vying as position on the platform of Union De Todos, which she formed a year ago.
In May, she contested for the post of Mayor of Denia a province in Alicante near Valencia. She lost but the campaign brought her to prominence in Spanish politics.
The Delta State born lady holds many academic qualifications. The law graduate also holds a Masters degree in Criminology, Masters degree in Social Education, among others.
She worked at the Red Cross Society in Spain and presently owns a legal firm.
She also served as CEO and President at the African Europe Chamber of Commerce.
