Microsoft has upgraded its wearable activity tracker with a new 2015 model still called the Microsoft Band, this time sleeker and quite smarter compared to last year’s band, sporting a curved OLED Gorilla Glass display screen.
The new Band syncs well with major OS client devices giving you notifications, activity stats like your body’s calorie, heart rate, and sleep data. Cortana has well been integrated with this year’s wearable, allowing it notify you of missed workouts.
The company says the new band can now help improve athletes everyday health and fitness workouts, thanks to some sensor additions, including VO2 max, motion, skin temperature and response sensors and a few third-party app integration.
