With Monday proving to be no different, Denise Van Outen looked stylish in a festive outfit as she stepped out in the capital with an unlikely companion.
Taking part in a photocall to promote Timothy Spall's latest role, the 41-year-old was joined by none other than Fungus The Bogeyman.
Journeying through Southbank arm in arm, Denise was all smiles as she got into the Christmas spirit and did a spot of shopping with Fungus.
Thoroughly enjoying her time, Van Outen giggled as she shared a joke with the Raymond Briggs' much loved character and the duo even stopped for a coffee.
Doing well to showcase their strong bond, the mother-of-one was also pictured helping the monster to dry his nose with a tissue.
For the photocall, which had many commuters stunned, Denise looked chic in a Christmas jumper teamed with a leather pleated skirt and a white fur collared red coat.
Styling her hair in loose curls, parted to the side, Van Outen opted for simple make-up as a pair of heeled patent ankle boots completed her ensemble.
Having loved every minute of the event, Denise took to Twitter to share details of her day, she tweeted: 'Funktacular day out with #Fungus the Bogeyman @Sky1 starts Sun 27th Dec, 6pm
Denise's bizarre outing came as an effort to promote a brand new four-part series of Raymond Briggs' classic family story Fungus the Bogeyman on Sky 1.
Set to air on Sunday 27 December, the show features an all star cast including Andy Serkis, Victoria Wood, Keeley Hawes, Marc Warren, Paul Kaye and Joanna Scanlan.
Speaking about the opportunity to bring Fungus to life as the lead Spall, 58, said: 'Fungus has brought joy to generations of children and I am so thrilled to be playing such a beloved character.'
