The 38-year-old rapper was spotted with a big smile on his face as he arrived for a departing flight out of LAX Airport in Los Angeles on Monday.
Not only was the cheerful expression on his face a rarity but he was also spotted without his 35-year-old reality star wife Kim Kardashian or their two kids.
The All Of The Lights rapper was dressed comfortably in his signature style as he sported an olive green bomber jacket over a distressed brown and black hoodie, baggy sweatpants and black Adidas Ultra Boost trainers.
He made sure to do a bit of self-promotion as he sported a black Yeezus baseball cap along with matching socks with his signature logo on them.
It remains unknown where Kanye was heading but no doubt he has been hard at work on his seventh studio album, which is set to release soon.
On Friday, the rapper announced on Twitter that the release for the highly-anticipated record, titled Swish, is set for release next month on February 11.
On that same day, the talented rapper released a new track titled Real Friends via his Soundcloud and Website.
As the song is about relationships growing apart through time, eh begins the track with the line: 'Real friends, how many of us? How many of us? How many jealous? Real friends, there's not many of us.'
