'Doctors said if I pushed the baby he could break my pelvis': Woman gives birth to one of Australia's biggest-ever babies weighing 5.9 kgs - the size of most three month olds

A mother who was forced to have a caesarean section during her painful birth was 'shell shocked' after waking to find out she had delivered a little boy who weighs almost six kilograms.

Breanna Sykes (inset), from Carramar, a northern suburb of Perth, welcomed her 5.9 kilogram son Ziad Kadic(right) into the world on Saturday at around 7.15pm on Saturday. Doctors from all over Joondalup Health Campus, where Ziad was delivered by caesarean section, flocked to see the not so little miracle, who may be one of the largest babies ever delivered in Western Australia.
