Hundreds of England fans - and Stan Collymore - are sprayed with tear gas as they celebrate Russia's 2-1 defeat in Lille where 400 'ultras' have vowed to attack them
Hundreds of England fans surged from a pub where they had been chanting 'we hate Russia' to run through Lille city centre this afternoon.
Dozens of riot police trailed them and when the fans were corralled in a side street fired tear gas to disperse them. The violent scenes unfolded shortly after Russia were beaten 2-1 by Slovakia at the city's Métropole stadium - both teams' second game of Euro 2016. Commentator and former footballer Stan Collymore was among those sprayed with tear gas amid chaotic scenes a day before England are due to take on Wales.
