Married TV reporters in Arizona arrested and charged after 'mother breast-fed four-month-old baby hours after they snorted cocaine together'
Som Lisaius and Krystin Sorich Lisaius (pictured together top right and left) were arraigned on three criminal charges in Tucson after police said their daughter (bottom right) ingested cocaine through her mother's breast milk.
Krystin Lisaius, a former reporter at KGUN, allegedly had taken the drug before breast-feeding the baby girl. The couple's daughter became unresponsive and lethargic after breast-feeding on May 15, so they took her to Oro Valley Hospital where they refused to allow toxicology tests to be performed. Eventually, they were conducted at another facility and cocaine was found in the child's system. The mother admitted to police she snorted cocaine the day before her daughter got ill, but didn't think she would be harmed if 12 hours had passed before breast-feeding the baby.
