Princess Alix de Ligne of Belgium is radiant in a vintage-inspired fringed gown as she weds Earl Guillaume de Dampierre in a lavish church ceremony in Beloeil

The 31-year-old married the Earl Guillaume de Dampierre in an elegant ivory gown at St Peter's Church in Beloeil (pictured). 


It was followed by a lavish reception at her family's 14th century chateau. Around 800 guests attended the wedding, including the the Grand-Duke Henri of Luxembourg and his wife the Grand-Duchess Maria Teresa. Alix wore a vintage-inspired gown designed by Belgian designer Gérald Wathelet, which featured an embroidered panel on the waistline and fringe detail - while a long lace veil, dating back to 1810, added a touch of drama.
