Fourteen-month-old toddler died from anesthesia complications during trip to the dentist to have six cavities filled

Daisy Lynn Torres, a 14-month-old girl who died during a trip to the dentist reportedly lost her life as a result of complications with the anesthesia she was given.

Daisy (left), from Austin, Texas, died two hours after being rushed to hospital from Austin Children's Dentistry in March. Her mother, Betty Squier, had taken her daughter to the dentist to get treatment for tooth decay. When she was sedated for the procedure, Daisy went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. Squier was seen saying farewell to her daughter at a touching ceremony in Austin earlier this year (right).
