'I was so fat I was a human airbag': 34 stone woman who gorged on TWO chickens in a meal was saved by her mountain of flab in car accident
Jen Sheehan, 36, from Sydney, suffered crushing injuries to her legs when she was involved in a car accident.
Weighing 34 stone at the time, doctors said her layers of flab acted as a cushion and saved her life. During her recovery, she met now husband Ron (right) online and the couple were married two years later. Mrs Sheehan said her brush with death proved the inspiration she needed to lose 22 stone. She dropped from a size 38 to size 12 after undergoing gastric bypass surgery. But her dramatic weight loss has not been without side effects, leaving her with more than a stone of sagging skin. am sad about my saggy skin. I've been through so much. Ron loves me as I am,' she said. 'But I want to lose the final bit for me. To prove that you can reach the bottom - and come back up.'
