Ohuruogu sweating on spot after Onuora wins 400m at European Championships
Christine Ohuruogu's chances of competing for another Olympic 400metres title are hanging by a thread after she was beaten by Anyika Onuora at the European Championships.
Both women believe the selectors should choose them for the one remaining place on the British 400m team for Rio. Onuora, who specialised in short sprints before deciding to solely focus on the 400m last year, held off Ohuruogu in the home straight to clinch the bronze medal here. 'I came here to do a job and I've done it. And I'd like to think that hopefully I've got my place,' said Onuora. 'I know what was on the line and I'm not going to shy away from the truth. This is our reality in the sport we do.'
