Great Britain through to women's hockey final after beating Kiwis in feisty clash
A lot of sweat, a lot of blood but no tears. Britain overcame the loss of two players to facial injuries to beat New Zealand on Wednesday night and reach their first Olympic final.
Alex Danson nudged Britain ahead in the second quarter and Helen Richardson-Walsh added a degree of comfort with a penalty in the fourth. A Danson strike from the spot nine minutes from time set it in stone - seven wins in seven and a shot at gold.
