Pensioner who suffered from mouth pain for ten years has won an £18,000 payout after he was told his painful dental work which ruined his retirement should never have been carried out
James Clay (left), 70, endured painful fitting and re-fitting of bridges (right), unnecessary extraction of teeth, prolonged gum disease and even bone loss after visiting Dr Roger Hughlock's surgery in 2003.
The retired engineer of Darwen, Lancashire, suffered severe pain as a result, and had to miss special occasions such as his grandson's christening and have several extra procedures.
